Privacy Policy

The short version

Your files are never sent to us. Every conversion runs inside your own browser, so the documents you open here stay on your device and are discarded from memory when you close the tab.

Files you process

When you choose a file, the browser reads it into local memory and the tool operates on it there. No copy is transmitted to PDF Love or to any third party. We therefore do not store your files, cannot access their contents, and have nothing to hand over if asked.

If a future tool requires server-side processing to produce an acceptable result, that tool will say so clearly on its own page before you use it, and the choice will be yours.

Information we do collect

• Usage analytics. Aggregate, anonymous counts of which pages are visited and which tools are used, so we know what to improve. This never includes file names or file contents.
• Server logs. Our host records standard request data — IP address, browser type, timestamp — for security and abuse prevention, retained for a short period.
• Local preferences. Your colour-theme choice is kept in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Advertising

PDF Love is supported by advertising. When ads are enabled, third party ad networks — including Google AdSense — may set cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Those networks act as independent controllers of the data they collect.

You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com, and from many other networks at optout.aboutads.info. Ad networks never receive your documents, because we never have them.

Children

PDF Love is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold no file contents and no accounts, such requests generally concern analytics and log data only. Write to hello@pdf-love.com and we will respond.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
