Questions about word to PDF

Will my formatting survive the conversion?

Headings, paragraph styles, bold and italic runs, lists, tables, images, and links all carry across. Very intricate layouts — text wrapped tightly around floating shapes, or heavy use of custom typefaces you have installed locally but nobody else does — may reflow slightly. For pixel-exact output on complex documents, open the file in Word and use Save As PDF.

Can I convert several documents at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like and they are processed one after another, then offered as a single ZIP download. There is no cap on the number of files and no watermark on the output.

Do you support the older .doc format?

Modern .docx files convert directly in your browser. The legacy binary .doc format from Word 2003 and earlier is far less common today; if a .doc file does not convert cleanly, re-saving it as .docx in Word or Google Docs first will resolve it.

What happens to my files?

Processing runs in your browser by default, so files stay on your device. If you opt into the higher-fidelity server path for a difficult document, that file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted, and deleted immediately afterwards — it is never stored or inspected.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no limit imposed by us. Because the work happens on your own device, the practical ceiling is your available memory — comfortably a few hundred megabytes on a normal laptop or phone.
